O enfoque da pesquisa, no nosso laboratório, é o papel de elementos da Matriz Extracelular na Biologia Tumoral. O estudo é baseado na análise dos componentes do microambiente tumoral com destaque para o papel de metaloproteases da família ADAMTS no comportamento de neoplasias de mama e ovário. Endereçamos problemas biológicos valendo-se de métodos morfológicos, bioquímicos e de biologia molecular.
